I officially suck

I am so not mother of the year. Today was early release.
I did not forget. I was getting my shoes on when the cell phone rang in the other room. It was the bus barn saying they tried to drop TC off but I wasn't there. UGH.
I tried to call but nobody answered, I had to call the special needs dptmt of the school and they transferred me to another lady who said she would call me back.

By this time I am practically in tears.
Then Sara texted me wondering where I was.
Shoot...I forgot I was supposed to get her after getting TC.
Normally she rides the bus.

Finally I got a call saying TC would be delivered to the bus barn after the driver completed her route.
I waited a few minutes at the bus barn for him.
He wasn't upset but I sure was!

I deserve the mother of the year award..not!

Tired

Oh Lord, TC did not sleep last night. I am so freaking sleepy. I am officially not working anymore but I have to go to the dr. today and buy groceries. We got hubby's transmission rebuilt last week to the tune of $1400...not really that bad of a price but that money went fast!

The kids are back at school today but they get early release on Wednesday and are off Friday so Mama will not have much time to herself this week!

Hubby's cortisone shot went well, they always put him under because he has to be absolutely still due to the shot going into his spine area. Hopefully it will help him feel better.

I want to go get some paint eventually. Hopefully I can do that one day next week. I should start getting my unemployment soon and then my severance in about 4 weeks.

Random

TC is obsessed with super heroes. Most super heroes fight bad guys, right?? Even the cartoons can be violent. Therefore he talks about blood and fighting and all that great stuff. This drives my husband insane. I tell TC not to talk about certain things but he still does! And hubs got him a magazine at the store the other day with YOU GUESSED IT...Super heroes. So I told hubs don't fuss at me because he says those things! Besides, he is autistic! He goes on and on about the same things 24/7.

My husband is getting a cortisone shot tomorrow in his spine. They always have to do an epidural before injecting the shot because if he moves it could paralyze him. So pray for us. I have to drive him home, again, pray for us. He thinks I can't drive!

And my teen. OMG, she is so nosey! She thinks she has to know what I am typing right now! She thinks she can reply to my texts that I get. She is so up in my business I swear I don't have any of my own she knows it all. I am ready for her to get a job! That way she can get out of my hair sometimes!!!

No stinky

I am big on cleanliness.
I make my kids bathe every day.
I check their teeth, hair, and make sure they look and smell good.
Sara can pretty much take care of herself, but TC, that is another story.

Every morning I spray his hair down. I put his deodorant and cologne on.
I always tell him, "Gotta smell good for the ladies!"

This morning I said that and he said, "Yeah, the ladies don't like stinky boys!"

Monday Monday

The kids went back to school today. I was glad to be home and get some things done. Til' my husband decided he needed to come home at noon..lol.
It was a good day after all and TC and Sara both had a good first day back.

Now I am trying to get him to stop talking and go to sleep!
I am off tomorrow too and only work Wed. and Thurs. this week.
Then I am jobless for awhile!

Friday

My boss told me to take today off. Hey next week is my last day! So they are letting me work like 2 or 3 days a week.

I took the kids to Dairy Queen and the park. It was very windy though! TC had fun and got some energy out though. Sara and I rode the bike for a bit.

We are home and they just watched Ponyo. A cold front will be here tonight. Crazy Texas weather always keeps us guessing!
