Weekend plans

It has been pretty nice being home with the kids so far. TC and I get up early almost everyday and run errands and the whole time Sara is in bed! I took them to a movie on Tuesday , "Shr*ek Happily Ever After". It was really cute!! Wednesday we just hung out at home and Thursday we went to town and bought groceries. Today we went to Dallas to eat at a steak restaurant because we received a gift card. It was yummmmy!!

Now we are home and TC swam for a little while while I sat in the sun. I finished my homework and just did my 30 Day Shre#d video.
I am going to walk later because I ate way too much at lunch!!

This weekend we will have a cookout at home. Can't wait!!

Meltdown and drama

As I have posted, Monday is Tc's last day of school. So I asked Hubs not to go into too much detail as TC does not really "get" calendar days yet.

Unfortunately he did not listen.
He talked to TC last night about school almost being out.

This morning I dropped Sara off...then I got ready to drop TC off. He began to cry.
Then he had a nosebleed. I told him to just get back in the car.
I drove around to the parking lot and tried to calm him but he continued to meltdown.

Finally I thought to myself, "Geez. Just take him home with you."
So I did.

I had plans to mow and hang out alone and maybe take a nap.
But my boy was sad and saying how he is tired of school.
He does not really care for his teacher (neither do I really).
He has one more year with her, unfortunately.
But he is tired.
And he needs a break.
I need a break.
So Monday is his last day and they are having a party.
I am going to attend his party and pick him up early.
Then we will get that much needed break.
Until ESY starts, but his teacher does not teach ESY thank God and Greyhound!

By the way, he played on the porch and got on the swing and was very good while I mowed!

I have so much more to say but I don't want to cry right now, because my head has been pounding all morning so I will post more thoughts later.

Summertime

I need prayer

This is my last week of freedom y'all. Oy vey. I am scared! My kids will be home after this week, until ESY starts for TC and that is only 3 hours once or twice a week.

Pray for me.

I have never been home with them longer than a few days.

TC is very observant

Tc went to a place called Celebration Station yesterday. He said they fed him chicken. TC does not even LIKE chicken! Anyways, he came home and said, "Ms G is so fake! She is really mean but she acts nice!" (In other words, my kid knows his teacher is two faced...LOL. )

So she sent me an e mail saying next Monday is TC's last day of school. I know he will be happy. He will start ESY sometime mid-June so I am sure he will enjoy having a few weeks off!

Saturday

The boys went to see Iron Man 2. TC liked it. Hubs said it was pretty good, but a bit long. Sara and I saw "Letters to Juliet" and it was good. A little predictable but still cute!

TC stayed home with me yesterday and he started his whining. OMG. Like I have said, I would rather someone pull off my toenails one by one than hear a whiny kid. It is my biggest pet peeve of all!!!!

When we got home from the movies today, TC's friend Jamel came over. They stayed outside playing for awhile. I actually laid down in the room to watch a movie and fell asleep...that always happens!

Fun day planned

TC and I are going to have a mother/son day tomorrow. He is rubbing it in to Sara! We are going to eat breakfast together and head to Wal Mart to get him a new pool. It is hot here in Tx. My Mom lives in Ok. City and she said it is in the 50's there. CRAZY!!

Saturday we are planning on taking the kids to a movie. The boys are going to see Iron Man 2 and Sara and I are going to see "Letters to Juliet."

Sunday I have two finals due so that is what my plans are for Sunday. Fun, fun!

New swingset

Tc's new swingset. I am a little disappointed that we are going to have to anchor it somehow because he is making it tip a little when he swings. It is very cute though!

Allergies and family drama

Ugh..my allergies are kicking it!!! TC seems to be doing good other than a small nosebleed this morning. He mastered another part of the reading program he is working on. His face lit up when he brought his reward home.

I had a little bit of family drama with my oldest sister on my space, she is not even my friend but she sent me a crappy message after she commented on a mutual friends profile about having no family. I replied on the friend's page saying that you get back what you give out and if you give out heartache, it comes back to you! Her message was basically threatening me and saying I was not taking care of TC and I didn't even acknowledge her. Both of my kids are well taken care of and she is just jealous because I am close to her son (my nephew) who is in prison. She has done more evil things to this family than I can name and she has the nerve to say things about me that she has not a clue about. She is also jealous that I have been married for a long time and have a nice life.

I think her and my Mom were talking about stuff when my Mom was mad at me awhile ago. Oh well, I did not even answer her back. I can give that mess to God and move on.

Iron Man, jewelry and behavior

We went to the dollar store yesterday. TC saw an Iron Man guy he wanted. He is $10. I told TC if he behaves at school, he can get it at the end of the week.
So today when he got off the bus, he was looking for his Iron Man toy!! I told him, "The week is not over yet buddy."

He is not happy. But maybe this will be an incentive for him to behave.
His swingset is on the way. We let Sara order lots of costume jewelry and she is thrilled!
