Really?

I didn't delete my Living in Tx blog. Well, I did. Then I restored it. But I set it to where only I can read it. I wanted to go back and read what I said about my sister.

I wrote some things almost 9 months ago. I was upset at her lack of dealing with my kids...but her kids are at my house every month.

I wasn't really nice but I wasn't really all that mean either.

It took her awhile to go back that far!!

I'm surprised I didn't write worse stuff!

So it's still there so I can read it, but me only.

Glad to hear that you didn't get rid of it. That's a part of you.

Not having a sister, I have no idea, but it seems to me that she would do better thinking about how she was making you feel than getting angry that you were feeling it.

I had that same problem and I didn'tdelete my post. Oh well I figure if they don't like it then they don't have to read it.

I don't write everything I am thinking though.
I am sure this blog will be great for you.
Sometimes I wish family wasn't reading mine, but I write also so I don't have to send so many emails.

Thanks for sending me your link

I can't tell you how relieved I am that you didn't delete your blog permanently! There are things that you felt or did that you might not remember if you didn't have the blog post. I know I have gone back and read posts that I didn't even remember writing and they usually made me smile.

I hope that things heal quickly between you and your sister. I can imagine right now it's a bit tense.

Prayers for you and your family!

I have a sister and I can relate big time. My sister can be a trip some times...I could write a whole blog about her, she has a degree in social work and thinks she knows EVERYTHING...

I think Joeymom said it perfectly. It's a shame that your sister couldn't come to you and ask why you were so hurt and what she could do to help mend that. I'm sure she was hurt and maybe she had a reason to be, but I think my first concern would be how my sister was feeling, you know?

How I feel about things changes as time progresses too, Kristi. I vent and then I get over it. I rarely stay mad at anyone, except for my big sister, or should I say former sister?! A blog is a statement of how a person felt at the time they were writing, maybe we need to add disclaimers that it may not represent the present reality or feelings of the author! :-)
